She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Mose, a sister, Mary Ann Beachy; her brother, Alvin Schlabach; and a son-in-law, Ron Neiswander.
Funeral service was March 7, 2012 at Grace Mennonite Church, with Pastors Larry Kaufman and Ben Raber officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

NAPPANEE - Andrew A. Raber, 63, of Nappanee, died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital, following a seven-month illness with lung cancer.
He was born June 20, 1949, to Atlee J. and Katie Ann (Helmuth) Raber in Bremen. He was a lifetime area resident.
He was a truck driver for Fidler Concrete and Aggregate Industries for over 25 years and a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church in Goshen. He enjoyed horse racing and was a member of the Standardbred Horse Racing Association.
Andrew married Joy Pisowicz Oct. 27, 1984, in Chesterton.
She survives, along with son Andrew (Rachel) Raber of Noblesville; daughter Megan (Ryan) Flickinger of Elkhart; twin granddaughters Ava and Addison Flickinger; mother-in-law Helen Pisowicz of Union Mills; sisters Malinda (John) Yutzy, Martha Raber and Betty Raber, all of Nappanee; and brothers Vernon (Mary Ellen) Raber of Abbeville, S.C., Ernest (Dawn) Raber of Etna Green and Larry (Vonda) Raber of Nappanee.
Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, July 10, 2012, also at the church. Pastors Wes Bontrager and Katie Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Life Story for Andrew A. Raber
June 20, 1949 - July 5, 2012
Andrew A. Raber was born June 20, 1949 in Bremen, Indiana to Atlee J. and Katie Ann (Helmuth) Raber. Andy was the third child in a family of seven children, joining Vernon, Malinda and followed by Martha, Betty, Ernest and Larry. As a child Andy attended Burkholder School and the Amish church in Nappanee where he was baptized at age 17. After high school, Andy worked as a truck driver for several companies in the area.
Andy met Joy Pisowisz at a picnic, where they were introduced by family members. They were married October 27, 1984 in Chesterton, Indiana and made their home on Andy's farm near Nappanee. Andy and Joy were blessed with two children, son Andrew and daughter Megan who were fourteen months apart in age and best friends. Andy was devoted to spending time with his family and followed Andrew and Megan in school activities.
Andy worked as a cement truck driver for Fidler Concrete and Aggregate Industries for more than 25 years. He enjoyed horse racing and was a member of the Standard Bred Horse Racing Association. He also enjoyed fishing and rooting for his favorite baseball teams, the NY Yankees and Chicago White Sox, family get togethers and playing Euchre and Rook .
Andy and Joy attended Yellow Creek Mennonite Church near Goshen, where Andy and Joy became members in 1988. At Yellow Creek Andy served as a driver of the Greencroft bus bringing the elderly to church and as head usher for many years. Andy was also an active member of the Koinonia Sunday School class. Andy genuinely enjoyed people. He was friendly to all and loved to tease children. He was known to the children at Yellow Creek and to his nieces and nephews as “Candy Andy” because he always had Smarties for them in his pockets.
After several months of intense rib pain, Andy was diagnosed with lung cancer on December 9, 2011. For seven months, he fought a heroic battle having chemotherapy, surgery and radiation in order to live long enough to welcome his first grandchildren into the world and to attend Andrew and Rachel's wedding in June. The Lord granted him the privilege of doing both. Megan and Ryan Flickenger gave birth to twin girls, Ava and Addison on May 24, 2012 so Andy got to enjoy being a Grandpa for two months. On June 16, 2012, Andy was able to attend and enjoy Andrew and Rachel's wedding.
Andy embraced all of life. Despite his illness, he continued to help train a filly for racing as he had strength. He also continued to usher for worship services and attend Sunday School class at Yellow Creek despite his fatigue. But the week after Andrew and Rachel's wedding, Andy's lung capacity quickly diminished and he was readmitted to Goshen Hospital. After a procedure to drain his lungs, he was able to go home with oxygen for a few days. But despite many prayers and valiant efforts from the medical staff, Andy had to return again to the hospital late on July 4 and Jesus called him home on July 5, 2012, at 6:50 pm surrounded by his loving family.
Andy is survived by his wife Joy , his son Andrew and his wife Rachel Raber of Nobelsville, his daughter Megan and her husband Ryan Flickenger and granddaughters Ava and Addison of Elkhart; his sisters Malinda (John) Yutzy of Nappanee, Martha and Betty Raber of Nappanee; and his brothers Vernon (Mary Ellen) Raber of Abbeville, South Carolina, Ernest (Dawn) Raber of Etna Green, and Larry (Vonda) Raber of Nappanee as well as dozens of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Helen Pisowicz of Union Mills. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Atlee and Katie Ann Raber, his niece Laverda Raber, and father-in-law John Pisowicz.
Andy will be remembered for his genuine love of people of all ages, his devotion to his wife and family and the Mennonite church. He was a hard worker and a loyal friend. He lived a life of integrity, and brought joy to many. Praise be to God for his faithfulness to Andy and for Andy's service to others which reflected his love of Jesus Christ .

GOSHEN - Martin Ramer, 89, of Goshen, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at home.
He was born Jan. 13, 1923, to Menno and Martha (Martin) Ramer in Elkhart County.
He married Edith Mary Horst on Jan. 30, 1947.
She survives, as well as his children, Amos H. (Annie Burkholder) Ramer, Lena H. Ramer and Naomi H. Ramer, all of Goshen; granddaughter Marianna B. Ramer of Goshen; and a brother, Enos Ramer of Wakarusa.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Ivan, who died in 1950, and Harvey, who died in 1964; five brothers; a sister; and two infant siblings.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 12, 2012, and from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, both at the family home, 65147 C.R. 15, Goshen. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Yellow Creek Old Order Mennonite Church. The home ministry will officiate.
Burial will follow in Yellow Creek Frame Cemetery.

LOS ANGELES - Max Edward Ramer, 58, of La Paz, Mexico, went to be with his Lord Monday, May 7, 2012, in Los Angeles.
He was born to Lewis E. and Margaret A. (Yoder) Ramer on June 25, 1953, in Elkhart, Ind.
He is survived by four children, Stephanie (Hermengildo) Rodriguez of California, Heather (Gildardo) Ramer Soto of Mexico, Jeremy (Janet) Ramer of California and Joshua Ramer of Mexico; sister Brenda (Kent) Weatherton of Goshen, Ind.; brother Gary (Janice) Ramer of Goshen; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Ethan, Elena, Amy and Naomi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant children.
Max was a graduate of NorthWood High School and received his degree from Hesston College. Max dedicated his life to working on the mission field in La Paz and San Matias, Mexico, for 32 years. He worked diligently to obtain his master's in theology. He was a very positive, energetic and caring person who was always working to help people in need, whether it was for food, clothing or a ride.
He always put others' needs before his own. His favorite thing to do was talk about Jesus. He loved God and his family, and he was a very hard worker. We miss you, Dad!
His visitation will be at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, Goshen, from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012, followed immediately by his funeral service at 3 p.m. Pastor Cory Weatherton of Pleasant Hill Missionary Church in Michigan will preside. He will be buried in Yellow Creek Cemetery.

GOSHEN - Barbara Katherine Reber, 86, died at her home Tuesday morning, Jan. 31, 2012. She had been in failing health the past two years.
She was born Nov. 13, 1925, in Milford, Neb., to the late David Elmer and Elizabeth Emma (Rediger) Bender. She married Donald D. Reber on June 16, 1946, in Milford. He survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Karen Sue Senft of Goshen, Beth Ann Reber Wenger of Harrisonburg, Va., Mary Kay (Dan) Hostetler of Rochester, Minn., and Carol Jean (Larry) Brundege of Moneta, Va.; a son, Jon (Kimberly) Reber of Columbia, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Merle Bender of Hesston, Kan.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Bender, and a brother, Merton Bender.
A 1942 graduate of Milford High School, Milford, Neb., Mrs. Reber attended both Hesston and Goshen colleges. A Goshen resident since 1976, Mrs. Reber served as a missionary to Japan from 1952 to 1967. She had also worked as a bank executive in Lombard, Ill., and as executive secretary for Women's Missionary Service Commission for the Mennonite Church. She was a member of College Mennonite Church where she served as a greeter. As a volunteer she ran the gift shop at Oaklawn.
There will be no public visitation. An 11:30 a.m. Friday memorial service will be conducted at College Mennonite Church with Pastor Phil Waite officiating.
Memorials may be made to College Mennonite Church or to Mennonite Mission Network.

Reber, Barbara K. Bender, 86, of Goshen, IN died January 31, 2012 at the same place. She was born November 13, 1925 at Milford, Nebraska to David and Elizabeth Bender. On June 16, 1946 she was married to Don D. Reber.
Surviving are children, Karen Sue Senft; Beth Ann Wenger; Mary Kay (Dan) Hostetler; Carol Jean (Larry) Brundege; and Jon Bardon (Kim) Reber

He had been a resident of Crestview Apartments at Fairmount. Prior to that, he resided in the Morgantown area and had been a resident of Berks and Lancaster County all his life. Amos was loved by many and will be remembered by all for his great sense of humor and his love for people. He and Ruth were a part of the Goodville Gospelaires for 12 years and a member of Goodville Mennonite Church. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and vacationing at his cabin in Huntingdon Co., PA.
Surviving is wife Ruth, a sister Bertha Breneman of Lititz, and six children: Mary Ann, wife of Dennis Ruth of Newville, Randy of Morgantown, Karen, wife of Brian Musser of Narvon, Bonnie, wife of Skip Weber of Reading, Marcia, wife of Richard Whiteman of Mohnton, and Amy, wife of Dennis Weaver of Ephrata. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren: Duane (Michelle) Ruth, Darrell (Tanya) Ruth, Darla (Michael) Allardyce, Dawn (Erik) Tack, Heather (Bryan) Martin, Dustin (Kim) Musser, Tracy Musser, Tesia Smucker, Todd, Tyler and Tara Whiteman, and Jesse, Brandi, Serena and Zachary Weaver, and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lee (stillborn) and a daughter Kathy (24 yrs.) and ten brothers and four sisters: Martin, Clayton, Norman, Abram, Henry, Adam, Titus, Allen, Mahlon, Edwin, Elva, Mabel, Eva Wealand and Martha Ruhl.
Services were August 16, 2012 at Conestoga Mennonite Church, Morgantown, PA. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

Richard was a long time employee at the former Victor F. Weaver Poultry in New Holland (now Tyson) and was most recently employed as a cart retriever for Shady Maple Market for 13 years. He was a member of Honey Brook Mennonite Church.

William Edward Reese, age 81, of Louisville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. He was born Nov. 16, 1930 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late John and Mary Margaret (Hunt) Reese. Bill was a Korean War Veteran - A Chosin Reservoir Survivor. He received both the Silver Star and a Purple Heart for his service as a Navy corpsman, serving with the Marines. He retired from Ohio Power after 38 years of service. He was a 50 yr member of the Julliard Masonic Lodge #460 F & AM and Scottish Rite Valley of Canton.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, June (Henkelmann) Reese, his son, David (Rama) Reese of Uniontown, daughter, Janet (David) Hopkins of Louisville, three grandsons, Aaron and Adam Reese and Andrew Hopkins, granddaughter, Julie Hopkins and three sisters.
A memorial service for Bill will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, with Masonic services to follow at 10:30 a.m. in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care.

GOSHEN - Peter Reimer, 91, formerly of Middlebury, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, in his residence at Waterford Crossing.
He was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Giroux, Manitoba, Canada, to David P. and Justina (Brandt) Reimer.
He moved to LaGrange County from Canada in 1952, then to Middlebury in 1955.
On July 15, 1951, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, he married Edith Kaufman. She died March 30, 2010.
Surviving are daughters Wanda Joy Lepillez of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ellen (Jim Curtsinger) Reimer of Grand Junction, Colo.; foster daughters Adele Reimer of Goshen and Donna Charles of Fort Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren; three foster grandchildren; a great-grandson; 11 foster great-grandchildren; one foster great-great-granddaughter; siblings Sarah Reimer of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, David (Helena) Reimer of Blumenort, Manitoba, Canada, and Gerhard (Rosemary) Reimer of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; son Raymond Reimer; son-in-law Jean-Marc Lepillez; and siblings Marie Reimer, Justina Penner, Elizabeth Kroeker and Henry Reimer.
He was a member of Forks Mennonite Church. He was the owner/operator of Reimer Ice Service, Inc. He took social work and Bible classes at Goshen College.
He was active in Gideons International, sang in the Gospel Messengers and volunteered with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) doing reconstruction in France following World War II. He and his wife worked at David Rogers Childrens Home in Wolcottville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Aug. 31, 2012, at Miller Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. Family and friends may gather at Forks Mennonite Church, Middlebury for a half an hour before leaving at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, for a graveside service in Bontrager Cemetery, Middlebury.
A celebration of life service is at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at the church. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Eugene Bontrager and the Rev. Phil Yoder.
Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to MCC or Gideons International.

GOSHEN - Dale R. Reinhardt, 81, of C.R. 36, died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012, at his residence.
He was born July 3, 1930, in Kouts to Orie and Mildred (Martin) Reinhardt. He married Doris Hartman on Dec. 11, 1955, at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church in Goshen.

Dale was a farmer and worked as bus driver and truck driver at ADM Alliance in Nappanee. He was a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the church with Pastor Wes Bontrager and Katie Cunningham of Yellow Creek officiating.

Reinhardt, Dale Richard, 81, of Goshen, Elkhart Co., Indiana died April 22, 2012 at the same place from natural causes. He was born July 3, 1930 at Kouts, IN to Orie and Mildred (Martin) Reinhardt. On December 11, 1955 at Goshen, IN he was married to Doris Hartman, who was born December 11, 1930 and survives.

Life Story for Dale R. Reinhardt
Born July 3, 1930 Died April 22, 2012
Dale Richard Reinhardt, was born July 3, 1930, in Kouts, Indiana to Orie and Mildred (Martin) Reinhardt. He was their third child, only weighing two pounds at birth. His two older brothers Orie Jr. and John died in infancy. Over the next nine years, Dale became big brother to four sisters, Helen, Shirley, Vera, and Norma. Then he suffered his first great loss; his mother died when Dale was nine years old.
Some years later, Dale's father was remarried to Helen Hill and six more girls and two brothers were added to the family; Wanda, Mary, Lois, Vernon, Diane, Don, Susie and Pam. Dale and his family attended Hopewell Mennonite Church in Hopewell, Illinois, where Dale was baptized in 1942 at age twelve.
Dale graduated from Kouts High School in the class of 1948 where he was one of thirteen in his graduating class; a class almost as big as his family! As a youth Dale helped his Dad with farming and enjoyed playing baseball and singing in quartets.
During the Korean War, Dale served in IW service and was stationed in South Bend, IN where he worked at Memorial Hospital in the laundry department.
During this time he met Doris Hartman. He and Doris were married on Dec. 11, 1955 at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, Goshen, by Pastor Peter Wiebe. Two years after their marriage Dale transferred his membership to Yellow Creek Mennonite Church where he was an active member of the Bridge Builder's class and played church softball for many years.
Over the next seventeen years, Dale and Doris were blessed with six children: Randall Dale, Duane Mark, Carl Eugene, Leanne Kay, Brent Alan, and Karen Sue. When the boys were young, Dale's father Orie came to live with them. In addition to farming and raising sheep, Dale also worked as a truck driver at ADM Alliance in Nappanee and later became a school bus driver for WaNee schools.
Dale greatly enjoyed his children and grandchildren and took an interest in each child who rode his school bus. Five years ago, Dale's health began to fail him. Over time, he gradually had to give up farming, driving, and going to church and so many other things he loved to do. In recent years, he was cared for at home by his wife Doris, daughter Leanne, son Brent and his wife Marla with whom he lived. The rest of his family were very supportive as well. On Sunday morning April 22, 2012 at 9:20 am, Dale went home to be with the Lord at age eighty-one.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Orie and Mildred Reinhardt; his stepmother, Helen (Hill) Reinhardt; one sister, Verna Greer; and two infant brothers, Orie Reinhardt Jr. and John Arthur Reinhardt.
Dale is survived by his wife Doris, with whom he had been married for sixty two years, his six children and their spouses, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. They are Randy and Delora Reinhardt of Goshen, and their children Stephanie, Natalie and Cory Reinhart, and grandson Brayden; Duane and Laurie Reinhardt of Philadelphia, Mississippi and their daughters Heather (Dustin) Glenn of Mississippi, and Brittany (Matt) Terui and their daughter Malie; Carl and Marleen Reinhardt of Dalton, Ohio, and their children Kristina, Brandon, Derek, and Jason; Leanne Reinhardt at home; Brent and Marla Reinhardt of Goshen and their children Alex, Brooke, Mia and Jacoby; Karen and Bill Martin of Goshen and their sons Nick, Nathan, and Andrew.
Dale is also survived by twelve siblings: Helen (Arnold) Miller, Vera (Wes) Birky, Norma (Ron) Finney, Lois (Dave) Howe, Diane (Dennis) Kucinski, all of Valparaiso, IN; Shirley (Art) Kneifel of Kouts, IN; Wanda Reinhardt and Mary Reinhardt, North Judson, IN; Vernon (Verlyn) Reinhardt, Nappanee, IN; Don (Darlene) Reinhardt and Susie Mittros, Winamac, IN; & Pam Reinhardt, Dyer, IN.
Dale will be remembered for his love of Jesus, his love of people, his love of the farm, his singing, his sense of humor and his devotion to wife and family and the church. He enjoyed attending Ft. Wayne softball tournaments, church campouts and winter retreats at Amigo Center annually. He looked forward to family reunions, IW reunions and loved caring for Leanne. Whether caring for little children or little lambs, Dale followed after the good shepherd (Psalm 23, John 10) who shepherded him. Praise be to God for his faithfulness.

He was born February 15, 1919 at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to George and Helena (Schultz) Rempel. On July 6, 1944 at Steinbach, Manitoba he was married to Wendlyn Reimer.
Surviving are children, Donna Bontrager; Jim and Debbie (Rempel) Speer; and Gerry Rempel, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a brother, George Rempel.
He was principal and teacher at Steinbach High School; Academic Dean of North Dakota State Teachers College; professor of education at Purdue University; President of Eastern Oregon College (now University) in LaGrande, OR; Assistant Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs for the State Board of Higher Education in Eugene, OR. He was an accomplished pianist who enjoyed family, singing, travel, mountain climbing, skiing, and golf.
Memorial services will be held January 6, 2013 at Eugene Mennonite Church, Eugene, Oregon, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Eugene, Oregon.

Daughter of the late Grube and Anna Zimmerman Ressler, Anna was born in West Earl Twp., PA. The family later moved to Manheim Twp., where she attended Manheim Twp. schools.
After earning a certificate in interior decorating from Penn State, Wyomissing Campus, she was self-employed since 1958 as a dress and drapery maker.
Active in the E.C. Church since 1961, she served as Sunday school teacher, steward, Vice President of the official board, Lay delegate for 15 years, youth leader, choir member, soloist, worship leader and librarian. Anna was also an avid student of the Bible.
As a 17-year Lay witness missioner, she traveled to nine eastern states in addition to Germany, Scotland, and New Zealand.
Anna was a poet and songwriter. She sang alto in the Gospel Trio known as Loving-kindness and later as Day-star. Four of her songs were recorded on the Loving- kindness album, "Accepted."
Day-star won first prize in the Gospel Trio Division of an international talent contest by the Music City Song Festival in Nashville, Tenn.
A long-time member of the Ephrata Republican Committee, she served as Vice-chair, secretary, and treasurer. She was also a member of the Ephrata Women's Club and Lancaster County Action.
Anna frequently wrote letters to the editor. A final letter will be read at her funeral.
Surviving are brothers, Harold (Helen Sensenig), Ephrata, Melvin (Lettie Hostetter), Lititz, Elvin (Jeanne Pawling), Ephrata, plus many nephews and nieces.
Anna was preceded in death by her brothers, John (Kathryn Remick), Martin (Alma Martin), Paul who died in infancy, Elmer (the late Anna Mary Lehman), and Clarence (Pat Hess).
Life celebration services will be held at Grace E.C. Church, 101 North 7th Street, Akron, PA on Sunday, February 5, at 4 p.m.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

LAGRANGE - Florence Rheinheimer, 97, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Miller's Merry Manor.
She was born Dec. 1, 1914, to the late Noah and Sovilla (Blough) Hooley in Shipshewana.
On Aug. 23, 1941, she married Raymond (Bud) Rheinheimer. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1998.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Mary Jo) Rheinheimer and Shirley (Ben) Helmuth, both of LaGrange, Karen (Mike) Coffee of Dandridge, Tenn., Bonnie (Tom) Swihart of Churubusco and Lonnie Rheinheimer of Hugoton, Kans.; daughter-in-law Darlene Mishler of Shipshewana; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren; sister Fern Showalter of Goshen; and sister-in-law Lois Hooley of Shipshewana.
Her son, Lynn Rheinheimer, and brothers Francis Hooley, Ernest Hooley and LaVern Hooley preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Shore Mennonite Church, Shipshewana. Funeral services for Florence are at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at the church.
Burial will be in Shore Cemetery.

She was born November 19, 1918 at Wayland, Iowa to Edward and Elizabeth (Good) Wenger. Edward was born July 31, 1882 and died January 17, 1967. Elizabeth was born September 25, 1882 and died October 12, 1952.
On August 31, 1938 in Washington County, Iowa she was married to Glen Albert Richard, who was born December 23, 1916 and died June 20, 2011. They celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary in 2010.
Surviving are children, Wesley (Sue) Richard, Duane (Judy) Richard, Gloria (Gary) Graber, and Lynn (Karen) Richard, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Clarence (Dorothy) Wenger.
A brother, Elmer Joseph Wenger, and two sisters, Minnie (Elmer) Roth, and Frances (Mahlon) Wyse preceded her in death.
Margaret was active in the Mennonite Church all of her life, having been baptized into the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church near Wayland in 1931. From that time on, scripture became her constant guide and she committed much of it to memory. In 1958, she became a charter member of the newly formed Pleasant View Mennonite Church along with her husband, Glen, who was installed as pastor. She served Christ faithfully at her husband's side until retirement. At home she was generous with hospitality and in the church she used her God-given gifts in Christian education, music, and relief projects, especially with sewing and quilting.
Memorial services were held September 22, 2012 at Pleasant View Mennonite Church Mt. Pleasant, Iowa with burial in Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Ella was an active member of Smithville Mennonite Church where she served as State President of WMSC, Sunday School Teacher, Bible School Superintendent and teacher. Ella was a member of the Amstutz Sisters Trio and sang at numerous weddings and funerals as well as performing on the Calvary Hour for 25 years Ella was a former president of the Gideons Auxiliary and a Charter Member of the OrrVilla Board of Trustees, serving for 29 years. She was a member of the Crown Hill Home Makers Club and the Orrville House and Garden Club. She enjoyed participating as a co-host on TV 3 "Today in Cleveland" with Del Donahue many times.
Surviving are sons, M. In 1993, she married Turner Brown. Graduated from IMS in 1972 and received her degree in graphic design from the University of Indiana Bloomington. Her career took her to Brooklyn, New York and Atlanta, Georgia where she lived the rest of her life.
Survived by her husband, Turner Brown, her step-sons, Mason Brown and Dylan Brown of Atlanta, GA; her parents, Leroy & Edith Ropp of Kalona; sisters: Ardith Hartzler of Wellman, Diana and husband Morris Miller of Riverside; brother; Lamont and wife Luetta Ropp of Wellman; nieces: Shawna Crile and husband Tim, Elizabeth Miller; nephew: Christian Miller; and two great-nephews: Tyler and Reece Crile.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Merlin. A celebration of life service was Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at the West Union Mennonite Church in rural Parnell, IA.

He was born November 15, 1933 at Tofield, Alberta, Canada to Melvin Stauffer and Hilda H. (Hershberger) Roth. Melvin was born August 23, 1903 and died May 2, 1955. Hilda was born March 26, 1907 and died September 26, 1993.
On August 7, 1955 at Wayland, Henry Co., Iowa he was married to Marilyn Dee Leichty, who was born October 9, 1935 and survives.
Surviving are children, Bryan Roth, Kevin (Sue) Roth, and Carol (Keo) Lovan, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Willis Darlene) Roth, Betty (Joe) Krabill, Delbert (Miriam) Roth, and Curtis (Rachael) Roth.

SHIPSHWANA - Julia I. Roth, 76, of Shipshewana, died at 6:50 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital. She had been in declining health for the past four months.
She was born July 24, 1935, in Elkhart County to John G. and Leona (Bontrager) Miller.
On June 7, 1958, in Lagrange County, she married Vernon Roth. He survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Marilyn Roth of Shipshewana; three sons, Gary (Kathy) Roth, Keith (Gayle) Roth and Bob (Julie) Roth, all of Shipshewana; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Roth was a homemaker and a member of Forks Mennonite Church, where she was once active as a Bible and Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed music and singing.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today March 25, 2012, and for one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service on Monday, March 26, 2012, all at Forks Mennonite Church, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Eugene Bontrager and the Rev. Phil Yoder. Burial will be in Townline Cemetery, Shipshewana.

Surviving are children, Gwen (David) Janzen; Donald (Michelle) Janzen; Tim (Amy) Janzen; and Rita (Dave) Wainwright; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Ruth Stucky, Herb Ruebke, and Judith Lowden.
